While the majority of our funding does come from government support, private donations make a significant qualitative difference in what we do. They give us freedom to make decisions that help maintain the high quality of care we offer, as well as the ability to develop new services before they are funded by the federal and state government, as new homes are opened and more individuals with special needs are welcomed.
We need your help — now more than ever — to weather these difficult financial times. Please consider a donation of whatever you can afford to CMA this year.
Every dollar helps. No donation is too small.
Gifts in Memoriam, or in Honor and Celebration
If you would like your gift to be in memory of someone or to commemorate a special occasion (birthday, wedding, birth, graduation, Bar/Bat Mitzvah or Confirmation), CMA will send a letter of acknowledgement to the person honored or the family of the deceased and the recipient will experience the satisfaction of having a positive impact upon the lives of the men and women who live in CMA’s homes.
Planned Giving
One way that you can support us is by including CMA in your estate planning. You can name CMA as a beneficiary of your will in one of several ways — by identifying a specific gift, a percentage of your total estate or naming the organization as a remainder beneficiary. You can also name CMA as owner and/or beneficiary or partial beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Consult with your estate or tax advisor on how making a planned gift to CMA may provide a tax advantage to you and your heirs.

Matching Gifts
Make your gift grow by checking to see if your employer has a matching gift program. Many companies will match employee charitable contributions. Matching gifts may also be available to you if you are a spouse of an employee, a retired employee or the spouse/widow/widower of a retiree.
