Technology is an important part of everyday life—and the Technology CORE gives participants the opportunity to build confidence and practical skills while discovering new ways to use digital tools. Through hands-on activities, participants can explore technology as a way to communicate, express themselves, learn new skills and connect with their community.
Participants can develop computer skills, explore e-commerce and social media, and learn the fundamentals of photography and video. Through the @thecore podcast program, participants can also explore communication, content creation and storytelling while developing their own ideas and interests.
The Technology CORE encourages participants to move beyond simply using technology and discover how they can create with it, communicate through it and use it as a tool for greater independence and self-expression.
